• George Orwell's essay 'Politics of the English Language' is a classic. It's interesting to see Orwell break many of his own 'rules' when it comes to clear writing.
• Have fun with Australian slang. From the Australian National Dictionary Centre at the Australian National University. Whether it's bogan, chuck a wobbly, or go troppo, this site has all the answers when it comes to Aussie slang.
